Marvel Redesign set 2

10 months is a good time to post, right?

Well, its about time I post something new. I'm going to Parsons finally, its somewhat of a let down, but I'm going to finish it, and make the best work possible. I'm living in Manhattan now, for some reason, it doesn't feel the same and I can't make myself at home. I have a really big apartment, which I can't seem to keep clean, and its got plenty of raoch and mice friends included.

I started doing new versions of Marvel heroes & villians...I'm waiting to get my pen tablet. Hopefully, I can get it today. Right now they're just sketches, but I'll present them:

Toad, Thor, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Hulk, Juggernaut

Sabertooth, The Thing, The Rhino, The Vulture, Silver Surfer, Dr. StrangeProfessor X, Namor, Pyro, Sandman, Spidey, Shadowcat

Each super has a new history and reason for each look, i.e. Silver Surfer is now more alien looking with 4 arms and rides a silver tablet-like board. Namor is more fish than human, Spidey's costume is made from clothes he had and object around the house. The Thor has the appearance of an actual Scandinavian god, Prof X is more like Prof. X-Ray.

You get the deal. I will try and finish one a week, due to school work. I think I need this to take myself away from the workload.

In other news, I have started work on Space Funk unofficial #1. This will be done by the end of the year. I don't yet have a publisher, it might be self-published. I'll Post more news.

Christmas Presents for the folks

I am extremely late with getting out my holiday presents to my family. Here are 2 paintings I'm sending to my parents.

This one is for my dad.

This one is for my mom.

My brother is getting a jacket with this same character painted on it. He's listening to a stereo playing some good music.

He represents me slightly...the 2 sided head. One side is the 1-eyed "narrow-sighted" me; not really seeing the bigger picture just going along with things...not always bad, its just the side of me thats less serious. The 2-eyed side is my contemplative side, the side that is always thinking; sometimes a little too much.

These paintings are going along with some other gifts.

In other news, we're painting with the Living Legends on the 1st of Feb. This show is going to be sick. I'm really looking forward to it.

Our show at Floating World Comics went really well. We still have to finish the mural, but so far its coming out really well.
